Vegan Dips

 

Dip Dip Hooray!! Our two vegan dips go down a treat in a workshop and are surprisingly easy too! The best bit is they can easily be customised to your own tastes, take these recipes as a starting point and make them your own!

Hummus

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas- either 1 can (drained) or 250g cooked
  • 2-3 tbsp Tahini
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 squeeze lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Tip the chickpeas and oil into a blender and blitz until almost smooth.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend again.

 

Pea-a-mole- like Guacamole but with peas!

Ingredients

  • Frozen peas (defrosted)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • Chilli (deseeded and chopped)
  • Coriander (roughly chopped)
  • 1 squeeze lime juice
  • 1-2 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blitz until the desired consistency.
