Vegan Dips
Dip Dip Hooray!! Our two vegan dips go down a treat in a workshop and are surprisingly easy too! The best bit is they can easily be customised to your own tastes, take these recipes as a starting point and make them your own!
Hummus
Ingredients
- Chickpeas- either 1 can (drained) or 250g cooked
- 2-3 tbsp Tahini
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 squeeze lemon juice
Instructions
- Tip the chickpeas and oil into a blender and blitz until almost smooth.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and blend again.
Pea-a-mole- like Guacamole but with peas!
Ingredients
- Frozen peas (defrosted)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- Chilli (deseeded and chopped)
- Coriander (roughly chopped)
- 1 squeeze lime juice
- 1-2 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blitz until the desired consistency.
